Went today for my birthday with my friends, everything was absolutely lovely. We ordered so much and everything came out on time lovely and hot. Have to say the onion bhajis were absolutely gorgeous would definitely recommend and order again. Stunning behaviour. Lovely staff too, wished me happy birthday !

New years eve...ordered food at 8.15 rang a few times asking about the order kept getting same response. Did not receive food and was fobbed off. Appreciate being busy but honesty is always best...say the food isn't on the way and let us order elsewhere instead new years eve night ruined.

This is just a must visit this restaurant. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was super tasty and it was all incredibly reasonably priced. We rarely have 2 courses but saw some things on the menu we'd like to try and so glad we did!
We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Indian food was full of flavour, very tasty, shame it was very quiet but we didn’t mind as we had been to 3 places it was so full or they stopped doing food as they were doing a hog roast from 2 pubs. Would come again, plus it didn’t need to be booked. I don’t understand why it wasn’t busy

We love this restaurant, we live north of the River Tyne, but every time we visit Telford to see our daughter & family we always visit here. Staff are lovely & food is exceptional

Amazing first experience, the service was excellent, the food was lovely, chicken tikka and jalfrezi specifically. Lots of parking available and easy to find. The restaurant is nicely decorated and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend to any one looking for a great Indian restaurant.

Very welcoming and great food, mixed grill in the picture, was on form! definitely will order again, naan bread was crispy, very fresh. You must order onion bargies they are the best I've ever had. Chef was on fire tonight.

As a member of a team of women and men who used to work together many years ago we formed a curry club to visit the various curry house's in the West Midlands. We have been to the bad, average, good and very good, however the Blue Elephant is one of the best we have visited. The restaurant was very well decorated and clean, the waiters knew their trade, being available when needed but not intrusive. Best of all the food was excellent, all 6 of us agreed the meals we had ordered were of a high standard and very well presented. The Blue Elephant is definitely in the top 2 of all the restaurants we have visited, we all very highly recommend the Blue Elephant to all curry lovers.

Normally order from here as a take out. Chicken Biryani as I don't like strong spices. Always bin the sauce. Ordered tonight, choose option for curry sauce as can use it for hubby on another meal...Tonight the biryani is burning my mouth off & I haven't even tried any of the curry itself. What a waste of money.

Absolutely woeful. 3 hours to serve 4 starters and 12 mains. My drink was wrong 3/3 times. Bland, lukewarm food. To top it off a 20 min wait for the bill with the guy arguing with us and hovering (then rudely stomping off) whilst we were working out quite why it came to over £300. Almost 2 quid per poppadom didnt help id wager.
Avoid like the plague. Google wont let me give 0 stars.
